6.0/10

The hotel had a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms, although old and very noisy, were well lit and I appreciated the feature of the floor being warmed up. Despite the stunning open fire, the room had a strong smell of damp and the bathroom was tired. Additionally, it was uncomfortably hot without air conditioning and lacked electrical sockets.

The room was a bit of a mixed bag. It was old and very noisy but well lit. I loved the floor heating feature. However, the room had a strong damp smell, and the bathroom was worn out, too hot, and lacked electrical sockets.
Service
7.0
The service was generally good. The staff across various services were helpful and friendly, making the stay pleasant.
Location
8.0
The location was a highlight. It was a great place to relax after a day on the mountain, offering hot beverages and a cozy fire. Additionally, the hotel's prime position in the heart of the area was awesome, with lovely mountain views all around.
Dining
5.0
The dining experience was subpar. Options were limited, and prices were quite high. The nearby restaurant offered average food at a premium, making it less satisfying.
Facilities
6.0
The facilities at the hotel were mediocre. While the open fire was stunning, overall, the place seemed a bit lacking in modern amenities.

8.4/10

The hotel had stunning rooms decorated in a rustic ski lodge style, with nice and clean bathrooms, a big fridge, and a porch to enjoy the view. I loved the pool table in the lobby, but there was some molt on the carpets which was a downside.

Service

The service was great overall with fantastic facilities in the resort. I especially enjoyed being able to rent skiing equipment onsite, but they didn't seem to understand my request for a 'down-free' room which was a bit of a letdown.
Location

The hotel is in a great location in Downtown Mammoth, perfect for a fall color trip and close to June Lake Loop. It's right in the middle of everything, making it very convenient.
Dining

The dining experience was good, with options to dine in the privacy of our room or at the restaurant next door. The food was okay but a bit pricey.

8.6/10

The hotel is in a convenient location, right in downtown Mammoth Lakes, making it easy to access amenities. The rooms are comfortable and nicely decorated, but the check-in for the refurbished Lodge Room was delayed. The service was very accommodating and helpful, although the 'Free Parking' and 'Free Wifi' were not truly free. The dining options were outside the hotel, but there are good choices nearby. Overall, a decent stay with a few minor hiccups.
